For our ninth anniversary, we blended barrels that held a BIG full bodied stout, 13.7% ABV to be exact, and oh so velvety smooth.

This year, we tasted through all of the barrels in inventory to get extra specific on the blend. This was certainly the most intense tasting of barrels we have done, with over 15 different blend combinations tasted over 3 different days.

The final blend is 40% Old Fitzgerald, 40% Elijah Craig, and 20% Buffalo Trace barrels. IX is thick with layers of rich dark chocolate, coffee, some hints of caramel, vanilla, and molasses. It's best enjoyed at cellaring temperature, celebrating with friends. Cheers to 9 years of BG!

You must have a Shopify account to purchase bottles. If you’ve purchased beer from us, you may already have a login. If not, you’ll need to create an account. You must be logged in for VIII to appear in the shop.
This release will not be a lottery. Bottles will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will be releasing the bottles in three separate waves:
- Wave 1: Tuesday, May 16th @ 2pm
- Wave 2: Tuesday, May 16th @ 8pm
- Wave 3: Thursday, May 18th @ 12pm
Bottle limits are set at three per customer. Only one order may be made per person. Bottles are 375mL each.
Bottles will be available for pickup starting Sunday May 21nd at noon until 5pm in the Braddock Beer Garden. We will not be shipping anniversary bottles.
